Trade Suggestion

Hello. I have a trade idea, and I'll make it short and sweet:


If both players, at the end of the trade, both have more then 50,000 credits and 50,000 points, then the trade should be allowed.


So? Any arguements to this?...

the current trade system checks to see if you make the 50k credits and 50k points when you hit "CONFIRM"

what I am suggestion is it checks for 50k credits and 50k points, taking into account what is being traded, when you select "APPROVE TO TRADE" or whatever the bottom button is.

I don't understand what you are trying to get at here.

It currently checks before hand and afterwards so that someone that is down to 10k credits can get his friend who has a BB to come abd give him 80k credits, which in your system would be allowed.

They 2 check system is in place so that poeple cannot abuse the system.

Really? Becsause here is a trade I attempted:

I had 130k credits, 1k points
other person was giving me 70k points in exchange for 15k credits (and I don't know for sure if he had enough. but he had 2.5 stripes, and was in a CL, so i'm pretty sure he had enough)

did the trade go through? no. It complained about the 50k limit.

The 50k rule is not credit only...it checks both credits and points.

THAT IS WHAT I AM SAYING!

IT SHOULD CHECK FOR THE 50k RULE AFTER THE TRADE IS COMPLETE!

AUGH! Right before the trade is going to be complete, it should CHECK TO SEE IF BOTH PLAYERS HAVE MORE THEN 50k!

OK.......now that you have posted that, read back through this tread and see if you can understand now.....Cause ever basis has been covered of why it is not only checked at the end.

why cannot higher up gives lower level people loans?

why cannot I trade 15k credits to get 70k points to go over the 50k limit?!

and about the mking multiple accounts:

if the non-main account has 50k in both before the trade, and 0k AFTER THA TRADE, THEN IT WILL NOT GO THROUGH

but somebody who will have 50k points and credits after the trade WILL!

Why is this is so hard to explain?...

I already have explained it, but you seem to not want to understnad the point that if they changed it to only check at the end then there will be massive abuse of it.

I'll use one more example and I will leave at that cause you seem a little too dense to keep in an argument with.

"I have a friend useing, lets say, a BB. He has masses of money......like 240k credits and 160k points. I am just getting to the level to buy my first CL....I have 30k credits and 100k points.

Under your last check rule, my BB friend could give me 190k credits.

The point of the rule is so that if you know people when you are small, they can't just give you lots of money until you are set up to make your own. You have to work for it.


On that note. I understand what you are saying about buying points. And it does suck that we can't do that. However, if it were changed too many people would take advantage of it.

bah sorry. I guess I just kinda want my sailors on equal levels, but I can't because of how hard it is do anything in this game.
