Should someone create another Navyfield type game?

Me and some of the people that make games with me started on one.........but we did not have artist that could make the sprites so we put it on hold (we have the database stuff done though) if there is any one that could help with sprites, and if i get more time I might start back on it.

I believe sd has done a great job with NF,theres alot of people world wide playing the game. They also gave over a year of free play which most companies would not. There are many other types of online wargames let sd have this one :guns:

yes i would like to know as weel. And i agree wit u feild G. cuz im under 18 and i cant get my parents to pay for a game wit there credit card. If it was a game in the stores then they would let me . But its not that i dont have the money its that i cant. :omg:

And i think there should be submareines in this game as well. LOl weould make even more TW's in this game since Suns can only shoot torps.

Not right, Submarine can emerge to surface and use gun.
If there were submarines i bet UK would be armor whores with at least 12'' blocking triples :D

howdy everyone, im AdmiralJimmy, now b4 i get sidetracked and go into the boring details of how and where i was born... dammit there i go... but anyways, about the poll, my thoughts are: if someone were to make another game like NF i think it should either be about modern day warfare, which would be kinda hard considering all destroyers/cruisers now contain precision guided missles and you would have to create some way to have that and blah blah blah im boring you with details... or a game like NF except with WWII tanks instead of ships, like you start out as a beginner with a halftrack and a machine gun implacement or something, then as you lvl your halftrack can have a cannon and get better halftracks and as you get to higher lvls you can start getting tanks, like weaker tanks then end it up with the best tanks that force had (Japan: who cares no one likes them, U.S. the M-10 or the Sherman, U.K: havent got a clue wut they used, and Germany: the Tiger, as the higher lvl tanks) instead of getting newer cannons on the tanks like you would on the ships in NF you could get like better ammo and more better crews and such, as for the maps now: Desert areas for in Africa, Snowy/Winter looking areas for Germany, and Jungles and Beach areas for in Japan and some of the other islands and such. the beggining place would be sorta like NF where you click the spot you want to be in to start blah blah blah, in battle you could have it like NF with above the world view or like be able to switch to a first person kinda view (you wouldnt control it as though it were first person but you would have a map or something inside the tank that you rt. click to move and w s cannon tilt and a d left and right blah blah blah anyways you get the big picture.... i hope... i would love to see some replies to this long thingy cuz i think it would be cool and i would love some more suggestions cuz im sure this is cruddy and can use them :D well Piece Out and such :duel: :omg:

I belive that Blitz never made it past the beta stages, too bad, cuz 90% of the players were Nfers that couldent play nf after retail. You'd think they would have done well cuz there was alot of those types of NF'ers

I agree completely with admiral jimmy for a modern version. I've played dangerous water, which is a sort of a sub/sub hunter simulation. The realism is through the roof, which might need to be dumbed down for a navyfield type thing. But the most of it is that I would be very excited about a modern version of navyfield.
