Will not be able to shoot?

I just got the Atlanta, I have loaded guns ammo and my force, there are no indications of a conflict. When I leave it says will not be able to shoot. When I get to a battlefield I can shoot some of the time and sometimes I can't, when I do shoot it says no more shells left. What have I done wrong? Please Help!!!!!

It always says that. It says something along the line of "Please don't shoot while in the harbor." Or something to that affect. It has nothing to sctually do with your guns or anything, so don't worry about it.

Its simple.

If your ship have 8 R slots & 2 T slots (Atlanta), you can put 8 gun turrets + 2 torp launch/aa guns. If some of weapon slots are empty you get that message.

The same is if you use (e.g.) Fubuki and fit only 3 T slots without guns.

If you fill all slots R+T, you wont get notification. Just dont worry about this.

The exact quote is (I think) 'Cannot fire even if you clear the port'. And, as Orkaniye said, that just means you can't fire gun spaces that don't have a compatible sailor on it.

This may sound silly but did you load all your guns? I did this in the atlanta the first time if i remember correctly. Where u load your ammo, scroll down to the other guns as u might not have loaded ammo to your rear mounts. If u have then it is as Orkanyie says, you have not loaded torps launchers on and u will get that message.
