Agano.. when to buy it?

id like to ask when is the right time to buy the Agano? im level 26...
and what type of guns should i use when i get it?

My opinion is don't, it sucks as a CL, if you are going Oyodo, stay in your DD until 33.

the agano works well in a support role with the 7.9" duals but unless you have those i wouldnt buy it

i got my agano at lvl 31 using the dual 7.9" B N guns.

and my gunner "had" over 50% experts in it [at lvl 31] so make sure you do too, or else its hard to hit anything with them. [i tried getting vets and killed all my experts for no gain lol]

most important is BO must have lots of expert or some vet too cuz when you first get it, you can only use 5-60% of its true range since you cant see..... and having only 80 shells per guns mean you gotta shoot sparingly

so if you are prepared, lvl 30 is a min, so get it then.

and no, agano do not suck, if you are average, then agano will suck in your hands.... in a skilled hand, agano will rock your socks.... not to bragged but in DD CL rooms lately other CL always target me first now cuz i made them pay dearly for seeing an agano and go "easy target, save it for later"

Kinda sounds like your bragging, just saying in my opinion, with the same person in charge, the Agano is weaker than other cl1's.

nah i know im special when i could broadside a Q and kill it in 2 salvos with my agano :D

and true, it is a "weak" CL cuz of the guns, size and weak armor... but if you master it, the CL2 mogami you use later will absolutly rock other CL and CA alike

gunners are really important as i stressed cuz today i got a single lvl 44 gunner to use on my agano lol -.-" and the ships ability improved by alot :sheep:

basically i found my self at best when i put in my CL II heavy engine, triple 6" and X4 torp launchers....mwhhahah yes it was great
i torp whored after the initial torp wall passed and got an avg of 12k damage...well that worked for me...and that was because i had a not great but good experts...try it once u reach lvl 34 and can use the triples...the triples kinda look cool too... :guns:
