Here is my attempt at helping the navyfield general population by creating this market value guide, the guide is based on my trading experiences, the sightings of other people's trading habits and ALOT OF ESTIMATIONS (best guesses), If you have something to add, or think I need may need to change, please feel free to post.

* * * * VERY IMPORTANT * * * *
ALL SAILOR PRICES MENTIONED ARE RECCOMENDED TO BE USED AS BASE PRICES, OR ASKING PRICES, THEN INCREASES OR DECREASES IN PRICE CAN BE DIFFERENT BASED ON A SELLERS PREFERENCES. IF YOU THINK OF IT AS A CAR DEALER, THE BASE PRICE IS THE MSRP, AND THE PREFERENCES ARE LIKE THE EXTRA DEALERīS STUFF FOR THEIR PROFIT, AND FOR BUYING OPTIONS.

Prices of sailors are based with average stats of 12Pot/10/10/10/10/ect.
For the sake of simplicity, we'll call this guy a "Joe", for Average Joe.

Sailors with certain stats one or two points higher than a "Joe" will be called "Bill", for Bill Gates , and prices for "Bills" Skyrocket due to rarity.

All points are mentioned at a trading rate of 6pts/1cred, the (usual) average.

Neutral prices:

Original price for level 1 Joe: 3010 points

Level 1 Joe: $300-$800
Level 1 Bill: $2000-$3000 for fair price, but can be bartered for more.

Level 10 Joe: $1000-$1500
Level 10 Bill: $5000-$7500

Level 12 Joe (Just before picking nation): $1600-$3000
Level 12 Bill (Just before picking nation): $7500-$9000

ARMMAMENT SAILORS > GUNNERS > HVY GUNNERS, ect.
Level 12 Arm. Joe: $4000-$4300
Level 12 Arm. Bill: $10000-$12000

At level 22, the base price increases by $10000 (or $20000 at sale price)
At level 32, the base price increases by $30000 (or $50000 at sale price)
At level 42, the base price increases by $70000 (or $120000 at sale price)
At level 52, the base price increases by $210000 (or $330000 at sale price)
At level 62, the base price increases by $350000 (or $680000 at sale price)
lvl72=$610000/($1,290,000) lvl82=$870000/($2,160,000) lvl92=$1,210,000/($3,370,000) lvl102+=$1550000/($4,920,000)

To figure out base prices, increase the base price like so:
Level 12-22: By $10000
Level 32: By $20000
Level 42: By $40000
Level 52-62: By $140000
Level 72-82: By $260000
Level 92-102+: By $340000

To figure out sale prices, take the base price of the sailor nearest to the level group he's at and add that value to the sale price of the level group before it. (i.e. level 42 sailor at $70000 base, add it by lvl 32 sale price @ $50000 = sale price for level 42).

Level 12 Spec.Forces Joe: $5000-$5500
Level 12 Spec.Forces Bill: $12000-$14000

At level 22, the base price increases by $12000 (or $24000 at sale price)
At level 32, the base price increases by $34000 (or $58000 at sale price)
At level 42, the base price increases by $76000 (or $134000 at sale price)
At level 52, the base price increases by $236000 (or $370000 at sale price)
At level 62, the base price increases by $396000 (or $766000 at sale price)
lvl72=$676000/($1,442,000) lvl82=$956000/($2,398,000) lvl92=$1,316,000/($3,714,000) lvl102+=$1,676,000/($5,390,000)

To figure out base prices, increase the base price like so:
Level 12-22: By $12000
Level 32: By $22000
Level 42: By $42000
Level 52-62: By $160000
Level 72-82: By $280000
Level 92-102+: By $360000


To figure out sale prices, take the base price of the sailor nearest to the level group he's at and add that value to the sale price of the level group before it. (i.e. level 42 sailor at $76000 base, add it by lvl32 sale price @ $58000 = sale price for level 42).

At level 32, the base price increases by $32000 (or $54000 at sale price)
At level 42, the base price increases by $74000 (or $128000 at sale price)
At level 52, the base price increases by $224000 (or $352000 at sale price)
At level 62, the base price increases by $374000 (or $726000 at sale price)
lvl72=$644000/($1,370,000) lvl82=$914000/($2,284,000) lvl92=$1,264,000/($3,548,000) lvl102+=$1,614,000/($5,162,000)

To figure out base prices, increase the base price like so:
Level 12-22: By $11000
Level 32: By $21000
Level 42: By $41000
Level 52-62: By $150000
Level 72-82: By $270000
Level 92-102+: By $350000

To figure out sale prices, take the base price of the sailor nearest to the level group he's at and add that value to the sale price of the level group before it. (i.e. level 42 sailor at $74000 base, add it by lvl32 sale price @ $54000 = sale price for level 42).

(1.1) 05/29/05: Guide beginning, basic prices set.
(1.2) 05/30/05: Prices for "Joes" and "Bills" increased. Better leveling up price system made for more accurate sailor prices.
(1.3) 06/04/05: Prices for sailors level 52 and beyond proportionately increased. Changed price views so you can now see levels 62-102 (beware, you may get a heart attack from the high prices :D)
Pricing system more balanced to counter costs of upgrading sailors from Arms > Gunner > Hvy Gunner, ect.
(1.4) 06/05/05: Individual sailor levels broken down between levels 22-52. Enigma regarding prices of level 42 sailors where increasing the price of it bloated prices of higher level sailors fixed. Color coded updates now in use. Entire guide shortened up a bit (cause Partyb0y got tired of reading it all :P)

I dont really mind the prices right now, and given how much good sailors are worth(both game and monetary wise) I think its reasonable.

Its just a matter of what people are willing to pay, and since 90% of trades with sailors are buyers offers for exeptional/good sailors (eg +12 neutrals, or 25+ decent crews) the pricing plan wont really make a difference.


For example I just recently payed 130k(almost double your pricing plan) for 3 level 29 british restorers, because I think they were worth it.

And Iv seen level 50+ gunners go for 400k+!, all because the buyers thought they were worth it.

Yea, well like I said in the beginning, this guide is meant to be a base price negotiator for traders to start offering their sailors, if they want to sell it for more, more power to them. This was designed to help new sellers and the general community in starting their prices, also, I meant to bring up the newly updated version of this guide, so Iīll do it right now.

I havnt seen my e-mails for about 3 days now cause Iīm on vacation in Puerto Vallarta in Mexico (Ay ay ay ya!)
