Buying planes

all cvs have the same "weapon slots". Basically you buy the type of planes as decided by their roles... scout, fighter, torpedo bomber, dive bomber respectively.
as for the flight formation, the position of your pilots decide what formation number the plane is during battle (the number you see above the planes during battle, and the number key you press during battle to call that particular formation)

in this case, #1 will be figher planes, #2 will be torpedo bomber, #3 will be dive bombers, and #4 will be scout planes.
You must have both the type of plane and pilot in the carrier to use it. if you bought torpedo planes, but didnt put the torpedo bomber sailor in the carrier, then you wont be able to use it during battle.
In battle.
During battle, if you have plane capabilities, you'll see that your middle section have been replaced with the following image

1. The pedal lauches the plane while the clock shows how much time until plane is ready to launch. If the plane is ready, the clock is green.
2.The main display screen shows the plane type for the selected group and its information
3. Flight deck number shows how many planes of this type are being readied in the flight deck.
4. The hangar number shows how many planes of this type are left in the CV
5. This number is where you select how many planes of this type you want to launch in the formation.
6. The ready button. Click here to ready the amount of planes in #5. This will be replaced by BK HOME if the planes are already launched. Click on BK HOME will recall the planes back to the CV.
7. Find the squadron in battle. Clicking this will go to where the planes are in the battle. You can achieve the same result if you just press the squadron number two times during battle.

To launch a plane, first select the squadron you want by clicking on the pedal of the group you want

once you click that, the plane information will appear in the main display screen. If this is the desired group, click on #5 until the number of planes you want to be readied for this group and click ready.
NOTE: you can only ready the number of planes that is lower than the launch capacity number of your CV.
After you click ready, you'll see the timer on the pedal start to countdown, and when its ready, the pedal will turn green.
To launch the plane, just click on the green pedal and the planes will fly out.
To recall planes back, just select the squadron number. When you do that, the main display screen where READY was will be replaced with BK HOME. just click on the BK HOME and the planes will start to return to the CV.
