In new patch...they simply almost nothing changed about q's ...only it have a little less turning speed :bash:

you know what the secret is? Most Q users don't even come close to maxing out on armour.

I was happy with my Q with a full crew and moderate armour. The decrease in turning makes Jap Torp Whores more effective, but a lot of people have "beleived the hype" and run away from Qs. I had to run after them. The RN has good restorers, S**te torps and poor ships, so stop compalining and battle. the bad thing was no XP coz no one would engage you. Just play the game, I get splash damage still that takes my Q down 1000+ points, so they should remove that before they do anything more to the Q. The CL1 Dido is a crap ship to move on to, so most players keep the Q running and bypass the CL1 stage. So, there will be high XP crews with restorers, repairers and level 28 gunners on board a making them "pocket deathstars".

If you're using me as an example Reod, that's an extreme case. When I used a z52 with a skeleton crew, it even had more effective armour than my q does now; if you want to strip the crew down to nothing, you can armour whore in any of the dd's really (probably more so than the q since the patch).

anything the Q can do now, the Tribal can do with more hit points and more displacement with slightly better turning to boot. The Q is slightly faster (by 2 knots on overheat), and more crew slots (limited by displacement)

I have an identically equipped Q AND a Tribal, and I mostly run the Tribal now as I have the displacement to train another sailor. Sometimes I take the Q out for a spin though.
