note: I am posting this here first, because the people here are a bit more..how do I say...smarter then the regular navyfield forums...
Armor suggestion:
Noting the inbalance of the Q class because of armor and guns, but focusing on armor:
1) Ammount of armor able to be put on a ship
2) The british having the best armor, that is, the best armor to stop bullets
3) The british have the lightest armor.
So here is my suggestion:
1) armor weight (meaning the weight of each tenth of an inch) for each nation is the same across the board. The only thing differeing from each nation is that some nations have armor that are better at deflecting bullets
2) The ammount of armor, in tenthes of an inch, ANY ship can put on TOTAL is equal to it's DP/100.
Example: Let's say a ship has 7600 DP MAX. They can add 76 tenthes of an inch, or 7.6 inches of armor to either belt OR deck. Bulge and hull should not be changed by that.
so, any comments?
